Appointment Changes

We require at least 2 hours notice for appointment changes or cancellations. Same-day cancellations may be subject to a service call fee.

4. Pricing and Payment Terms

Service Estimates

We provide written estimates before beginning any repair work. Estimates include:

  • Parts costs (at our cost, no markup)
  • Any applicable service fees
  • Emergency service surcharges (if applicable)

Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods:

Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of services unless other arrangements have been made in writing. For commercial accounts, net 30-day terms may be available with approved credit.

5. Service Performance and Standards

Quality Standards

We commit to performing all services in a professional manner using industry-standard practices, quality parts, and appropriate tools. Our technicians are trained and experienced in appliance repair.

Parts and Materials

We use OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts when available, or high-quality aftermarket parts that meet or exceed original specifications. All parts come with manufacturer warranties where applicable.

Service Completion

Services are considered complete when the appliance is tested and functioning properly, the work area is cleaned, and the customer has been informed of the work performed.

6. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate information about appliance issues and history
  • Ensuring safe access to appliances and work areas
  • Being present or having an authorized representative present during service
  • Providing necessary utilities (water, electricity, gas) for testing
  • Removing personal items from appliances before service
  • Disclosing any known hazards or special conditions
  • Following any post-service instructions provided by our technicians

7. Limitations and Disclaimers

Service Limitations

Our services are subject to the following limitations:

  • We cannot repair appliances that are beyond economical repair
  • Some vintage or discontinued models may have limited parts availability
  • We do not provide services for appliances under manufacturer warranty (customer should contact manufacturer first)
  • We cannot be responsible for pre-existing conditions not related to our service

Property Damage

While we carry comprehensive insurance and take precautions to protect your property, we are not responsible for damage to property that results from pre-existing conditions, normal wear and tear, or circumstances beyond our control.

8. Service Satisfaction and Remedies

Customer Satisfaction

We stand behind our work and strive for complete customer satisfaction. If you are not satisfied with our service, please contact us within 48 hours of service completion so we can address your concerns.

Service Callbacks

If the same problem recurs within 30 days of our service due to our workmanship, we will return to address the issue at no additional charge for labor. Parts may be subject to separate warranty terms.

9. Liability and Insurance

Whit's Laundry Sales maintains appropriate insurance coverage including:

  • General liability insurance
  • Professional liability coverage
  • Workers' compensation insurance

Our total liability for any claim related to our services shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service in question.

10. Emergency Services

Emergency services are available outside normal business hours and are subject to:

  • Assessment of true emergency nature of the situation

Emergency services are prioritized based on safety concerns and business impact.
